The Daily Pragmatist

Day to day, business leaders and managers cannot usually afford the luxury of speculation, of grand schemes and big ideas.

All these things have their place in any good business, but it is the manager who has to control it all in a way that does not bring the whole business down around their ears.

This is not an easy thing to do on any given day.

The Daily Pragmatist is about you - the leader and manager. It reflects our philosophy that managers and leaders must do what needs to be done daily and incrementally so when we do get it wrong, which we will, we haven't bet the farm.

Our intent is to publish articles that are as practical as possible, with content that you can actually use.

Comments/Feedback

Above all else, these articles should be seen as an open discussion between you and us. We have not opened the articles for general comments because of the amount of spam and off-topic nonsense you get when you do.

What we do hope is that you will use our feedback page to send any comments or questions you have about our articles.

We will ensure that we answer you personally as soon as possible. We hope to publish further discussions - Q&A style - on our most popular topics.

Reprint Permissions

All articles in this archive are our copyright.

We do however, allow free reprint rights in some cases on the following conditions:

  1. You get our written permission first.
  2. Your site/publication is relevant to our content. Adsense scraper sites - don't bother.
  3. The article is reproduced in full. No edits.
  4. The article includes the authors full name and a link to our website. We get to choose the anchor text if your publication is online.
  5. You do not use the article to create derivative works.

We will also consider writing for your site/publication if it is relevant to our subject area, however this will be on a fee paying/payment in kind basis.
