Beyond the obvious intent of promoting our services, this site’s primary aim is to provide information to business leaders and managers in a clear and concise manner. As such, key points are in bold,  and the content has been written in as plain language as possible – all, hopefully, so that it is easier for you to skim where needed, and absorb what content interests you. Of course, we can’t always get it right and openly welcome your feedback.

Please note: Redskink is an Australian business – and proud to say so. Everything on the site is spelt the way we spell it, not the way the Americans do (although we are not immune to the odd typo).

About Us

The origins of this business are simple – my own frustration at the lack of tools and knowledge in the face of a business landscape that has changed dramatically in only a few decades. I embarked on a quest to find out what this crazy pace of growth and diminishing resources meant to me as a businessman and, more importantly, what it meant to my kids.

The environment matters a lot to me. Not in any idealistic way, but I grew up in a tiny coastal town and have watched it destroyed by over-fishing and over-development. I look at the mess around me and wonder what my nine year old is going to see when he is my age.

Beyond discovering that now really is the time to act to slow down the damage we are doing to our resource base, I also discovered the massive amount of new business that is going to need to be created to get us to a more sustainable way of operating.

I genuinely believe developing ways to minimise our impact on the environment is a golden opportunity for most businesses, not a threat to our livelihood.

So, if like me, you are tired of  the endless bulls**t from vested interests, politicians of every stripe sitting on their hands and the cyclic rantings from either side of the ‘environmental’ debate and just want to act – come along for the ride, it’s going to be fun
